Crosstalk is the hard-to-pin and impossible-to-ignore electronic project of São Paulo-based artist and visual effects specialist Luca Rassi. Since emerging in 2023, Crosstalk has rapidly become one of Brazil’s most compelling exports, forging a distinct sonic language that blends baile funk, UK garage, dubstep, and ambient textures. Rassi’s roots in film production and CG design inform Crosstalk’s audiovisual world, but it’s the music that speaks loudest. Early tracks like “MAMADA DUB” and “5am” (with Chediak) caught fire, with “5am” surpassing one million streams and “MAMADA DUB” landing on KEYMAG’s Top 100 Garage Tracks of 2023. In 2024, Crosstalk joined The Tabula Rasa Record Company, releasing the “CT-2” EP — a ghostly, genre-agnostic trip through post-party bass — and performing a standout live set at LA’s Heds showcase alongside Clearcast, Left/Right, and Canary Yellow. Backed by heavyweights like Bicep, Machinedrum, Baauer, and Jacques Greene, Crosstalk’s tracks have been spun on BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM, and NTS, and featured in mixes around the world. 2025 sees Crosstalk on the SPEEDTEST Europe Tour with sold-out shows in Berlin, Paris, London, and Barcelona, further cementing his reputation as a cultural bridge between Brazil’s hyperlocal rave scenes and the global underground.
